Our client has an immediate opportunity for a contract Senior Accountant role located in the Seattle area. You will work closely with the CFO and have tons of opportunity for growth and advancement!

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Maintain close schedule & timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closes.
  • Oversee all accounting (AR, AP, Revenue Recognition).
  • Routine reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
  • Preparation of journal entries
  • Fixed asset tracking.
  • Maintenance of accessible and documented paper records system
  • Maintenance of accessible and secure virtual records
  • Manage purchasing process and expenses.
  • Support annual budgeting and actual vs. budget analyses.
  • Cooperative enforcement and management of internal controls and reporting.
  • Support annual financial and periodic tax audits
  • General ledger analysis - to identify anomalies or areas for improvement
  • Ensure accounts reasonably reflect activity and GAAP standards.
  • Financial management and Board reporting.
  • Support and/or lead annual and periodic budgeting
  • Maintain cash forecast
  • Maintaining loan covenants and loan compliance reporting

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5-6 years accounting experience.
  • Highly proficient in Excel.
  • Strong communication skills - able to describe complex accounting transactions and their impact on financial statements.
  • Strong problem solving, analytical, and technical accounting skills.
  • Self Starter, detailed, well organized, and committed to continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deal effectively with a variety of people.
