Job Description

Vaco Indianapolis has partnered with a company located in Indianapolis to fill an administrative role supporting the General Counsel and legal department.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Conduct first level review of contracts, leases, and other legal documents
  • Perform lease abstraction to identify critical facts, data, and other lease management information
  • Review and organize client and third-party vendor contracts
  • Upload contracts into contract management software
  • Maintain contract templates and contract approval forms
  • Collect and analyze data needed for legal or administrative matters
  • Assist in developing and formalizing legal processes
  • Draft, proofread, and edit a variety of documents for correct spelling, punctuation, grammar, formatting and content
  • Maintain, prepare, and file registrations and legal documents with federal and state agencies and courts
  • Docket filing dates




Education:

  • Associate's Degree in business related field
  • Bachelor's degree preferred

License/Certification:

  • Paralegal certificate

Experience:

  • 1+ years legal experience
  • 3+ years legal experience strongly desired
