RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CONTROLLER:

  • The Controller will guide financial decisions while supervising a staff of 4.
  • Establish, monitor, and enforce policies and procedures.
  • The Controller will direct the month-end close and financial audits.
  • Review closing journal entries and accruals.
  • Prepare monthly consolidation and balance sheet.
  • The Controller will manage payroll, receivables, and the general ledger.
  • Responsible for preparing taxes and facilitating the annual audit.
  • Prepare financial reports, cost reports and all additional reporting.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and monitor investment accounts.
  • Oversight of treasury functions.
  • The Controller will coordinate company financial planning and budget management.
  • Collect and analyze additional data to evaluate the efficiency of business activities.

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED FOR THE CONTROLLER:

  • BS in Accounting or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt and respond in a changing environment
