An Inland Empire manufacturer is searching for a Controller to oversee the financial management and daily accounting operations of the company. The Controller will support presentations to the board and work closely with senior leadership. This person needs to have a strong accounting and have solid knowledge of GAAP. What you need for this Controller role:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, advanced degree a plus
  • Manufacturing/distribution experience required
  • CPA license preferred
  • NetSuite experience preferred
  • Experience in coordinating audit and month/year-end close
  • Strong communication skills with ability to explain complex financial information to all individuals in the company
  • Must have strong supervision, team building, and culture-building experience

What you will be doing in this Controller role - You will:

  • Oversee all accounting operations
  • Create and record business processes to maintain internal controls and safeguards for receipts of revenue, procurement, costs, and actual expenditures
  • Organize all audit activity
  • Analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner
  • Communicate monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements to senior management
  • Direct the preparation of the yearly budget and forecasts as well as reporting variances
  • Forecast company cash flow
  • Perform FPA duties including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
