Role Description

We need an awesome writer with great ideas and passion for problem solving with a hunger to make an

impact. You'll be the voice and responsible for creating strong and effective ideas for

a range of materials from website, emails, digital ads and more.

Minimum Qualifications

● BA/BS degree (In lieu of degree, 5 years relevant work experience).

● 5+ years experience working freelance, in-house or at creative agencies in a copywriting function

● Understanding of marketing strategies and tactics including channels such as blog posts,

website copy, social media posts, email marketing, paid media copy (print, banners, TV, radio,

OOH, digital), events and the ability to stay current amongst those channels.

● Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate complex ideas into

user-friendly, conversational communications.

● Experience creating brand comms in a voice that's genuine, humble and human.

● Team player with strong accountability towards deadlines, milestones and deliverables.

● Flexibility, a positive attitude and composure under pressure.

● A "user first" approach to editorial content

Preferred Qualifications

● Experience developing and building a brand and personas

● Record of creating written content that reaches and engages target audience.

● Proven track record of working on creative teams on large scale, high-volume campaigns

● Ability to move fast, pivot, manage stakeholders and stay calm under pressure.

● Experience working with creative agencies or x-functional teams on multi-channel campaigns

across multiple touchpoints.

● Ability to craft narratives from multiple points of view, adjusting tone and voice where necessary

Responsibilities

● Lead editorial development for our primary owned channels (Blog, Social, Website, Email)

● Work in x-functional teams with other creatives & marketers to develop copy for product

marketing campaigns, product launches, event announcements, etc.

● Collaborate with creative agencies on best practices for authoring in the Google voice

● Act as editor and proofreader for key pieces of marketing collateral

● Potentially speech writing

● Establish the foundation for integrating best-in-class copy & editorial structure

● Work alongside Product Marketing Managers (PMMs) to lead editorial

● Work effectively across several teams and stakeholders to drive consensus and consistency

across different work streams.
