Job Description

We are seeking a Copywriter for our client's creative department. The Copywriter will collaborate with multiple members of the production team to create product-specific online showcases, mobile pages, video scripts and more for some of the top brands in the world. In addition, this person will assist in custom-content development.



Job Responsibilites:

  • Leverage national branding and adapt into compelling digital retail campaigns
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop compelling content strategies to drive and support sales
  • Deliver on-point copy deliverables across multiple platforms: online, mobile and more
  • Apply consumer insight and experience in writing and editing headlines, impactful calls-to-action, emails and longer-form content
  • Develop longer-form custom content, including but not limited to quizzes, tips, articles, slideshows, expert Q&As, checklists/shopping lists, videos, game and tool technical copy, and more across a variety of publisher platforms
  • Research brands and past success metrics in preparation for projects
  • Edit, format and rewrite content from third parties, vendors, agencies, etc.
  • Work with a number of ongoing suppliers, providing feedback so their writing gets closer to client site specifications
  • Apply work style that is adaptable and receptive to feedback and critiques from manager
  • Be accountable for meeting multiple tight deadlines, with ability to react to immediate company or project needs
  • Actively participate in internal and external client meetings, raising copy issues, where relevant
  • Apply attention to detail and top-notch grammar skills

Qualifications:

  • Proven skills in writing compelling, benefit-oriented, customer-focused copy
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, English, Journalism or related field
  • 3+ years professional experience creating inspiring, memorable copy in either an agency or in-house creative department
  • Strong competency with Microsoft Office (particularly Word and PowerPoint)
  • Strong editing and grammar skills
  • Experience with SEO, article-writing and script-writing a plus

  • Exceptional grammar skills, with working knowledge of AP style
