Job Description

Our client in the Insurance industry is seeking a Corporate Accounting Manager to join its team. This individual will manage staff and responsible for:

  • Overseeing financial reporting and analysis, preparation of all taxes and compliance, and financial statement preparation.
  • Directing the development and execution of financial reporting controls.
  • Assisting CFO in planning and conducting self-audits.
  • Maintaining extensive contact with external auditors, insurance examiners, actuaries, and tax authorities.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • CPA preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance
  • 7+ years' experience in Accounting, Tax, and Insurance, including managerial experience.
Knowledge of IFRS necessary.
