You will be working directly with the C level executives and will be a driving force for change in the corporate accounting department. This position will lead to continued opportunities within the company including opportunities to travel to international locations.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Corporate Accounting Manager supports the Assistant Controller in the areas of corporate accounting, closing and consolidations, internal financial reporting and coordination of the global audit.

JOB DESCRIPTION

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the world-wide monthly consolidation process
  • Oversee preparation of the monthly, quarterly and annual internal consolidated reporting package.
  • Preparation of external financial statements.
  • Lead analysis of actual results compared to forecasts
  • Direct global intercompany activity and reconciliations.
  • Support international accounting personnel to ensure proper accounting and timely recording of the significant transactions.
  • Coordinate consolidated reporting matters with public accountants, business unit personnel and various corporate departments
  • Stay up to date on technical developments in areas of generally accepted accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Supervises consolidations personnel.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting
  • Minimum of 10+ years Accounting and reporting experience
  • Public Accounting experience
  • CPA is required
  • Minimum of 4+ years of preparation and review of consolidated financial statements
  • Minimum of 4+ years of month-end close experience preferably at a multinational corporation
  • Strong knowledge of accounting systems including HFM and SAP
  • Sound analytical skills; the ability to understand the business reasons
  • Advanced Excel and other windows applications skills are required
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with SAP a plus.
  • Experience with Lean Sigma process improvement a plus.
  • Displays flexibility in adapting to organizational growth and change.
  • Collaborative team player - Should be able to establish solid working relationships with stakeholders and work in a cross functional global team across different time zones
