  • Primarily support GPT and IDN teams. This individual will assist in fulfilling the communication, analysis and project management requirements of the GPO and IDN teams.
  • This position is required to assure compliance of Company operations to all applicable laws, regulations, and standards, good business practices and company documented procedures (including knowledge of all standards, government occupational health and environmental regulations and statutes related to the site)
  • Assist with government bids processing as necessary
  • Upload and maintain all GPO/IDN data and Contract Matrix via the Corporate Accounts SharePoint Site
  • Coordinates with Legal and Business Affairs to review and approve contracts per the Medical Contract Management Policy including both those contracts that are standard and non-standard
  • Ensures bids for GPOs/IDNs/Direct Hospitals/Distribution/Government are completed thoroughly and submitted on time in accordance with bid submission requirements and corporate procedures
  • Work directly with GPO Directors, Strategic Business Directors and Managers, Finance Business Partners and other stakeholders to complete reporting requirements to coordinate pricing and profitability analysis for GPO/IDN renewals and extension
  • Monitor, track and coordinate the processing for GPO, IDN, Government, Distribution and direct hospital bids

Required Skills and Experience

  • University Degree (BA degree) preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or two plus years experience with commercial bid processing, pricing and contracting preferred.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft applications, particularly Word and Excel (formulas, macros and pivot tables required)Experience with Oracle or a comparable ERP system.
Medical industry, pricing and contracting experience a plus
