Job Description

Vaco is recruiting for Corporate Communication (Social Media) Specialist for our client in Plymouth, MN.

This is a 3 month contract with possible extension. Only local MN candidates apply - NO third party vendors.

This role is all about communicating across multiple channels - things someone with a communications background should be familiar with. Support has to do with content review, editing, project management, etc.

Skills:

  • Strong written communications skill (we'll want to use our standard writing evaluation just to make sure)
  • Heavy familiarity with and use of social media
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work with strong follow through
  • Execute internal, external and social media strategy, including pro-active monitoring
  • Manage and monitor content and health of North American eScreen network
  • Write, review and edit a variety of internal and external communications
  • Attention to detail, particularly when managing large projects
  • Nice to have: basic Adobe/design skills
    • Responsibilities - these would evolve over time. We'd start with just a few and add more as we go (assuming the person can handle):
  • Monitor news feeds and create weekly News Digest for employees
  • Basic video editing
