As a Corporate Contracts Specialist, you will perform contract assignments in support of local or centralized procurement activity or in the audit/review of that activity.

Additional responsibilities of the Corporate Contracts Specialist include:

  • Conducting studies and analyses to develop acquisition planning documentation
  • Preparing draft proposal instructions, source selection plans, and other documentation required to instruct and assist evaluators in carrying out proposal evaluations
  • Providing support in contract administration functions for the coordination and oversight of requirements to ensure compliance
  • Analyzing the acceptability/unacceptability of contract deliverables based on the contract requirements
  • Supporting and assisting in the audit and analysis of completed contracts and supporting the processing of adverse actions taken against the contract

Job Requirements

To be successful in the Corporate Contracts Specialist role, it is essential that you have knowledge of procurement principles and acquisition planning. Additional requirements of the Corporate Contracts Specialist role include: • 2 + years of proposals, pricing, and/or contracting experience • Experience conducting contract negotiations with high level academic, scientific, and/or government officials • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Access, and Excel, particularly formulas, macros, and pivot tables • Excellent written and verbal communication skills necessary • ERP system preferred
