Job Description

Our client is looking for a Contract (to possible perm if the fit is right) Recruiter to help them with Administrative and management roles in addition to Corporate roles in IT, Accounting and Finance. A minimum of 5 years of experience is needed and pay is up to $30 an hour. Cumberland Mall area location.

Position Summary:

This is a contract position which could turn permanent

Contract Recruiter works closely with the Talent Director, talent team and the key stakeholders in HR and operations to define, develop and execute the talent acquisition strategy. This position is responsible for providing the highest level of staffing services to the business leaders in the U.S. Working in collaboration with the HR team, this position delivers high quality professional candidates and advances the brand across numerous markets and professional communities, while guiding hiring managers and candidates through the recruitment and selection process. This individual will perform full lifecycle recruiting and maintain excellent relations with hiring managers, candidates, and the community at-large. A wide degree of creativity, near- and long-term recruiting vision, business understanding, and personal organization is required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supports efforts to improve diversity in the workplace through recruitment strategy, and develops employer branding strategies to support recruitment efforts in the business
  • Works collaboratively with the HR team and Line Managers to fill vacant positions
  • Works with HR team to assist on 'difficult to fill' positions and talent pipeline positions:
    • Write complete and detailed search assignments, ensuring an understanding of job duties responsibilities and business requirements
    • Develops an effective pipeline of talent potentially available for immediate hire
    • Pre-screens candidates Create and present pre-screening questions to hiring managers for collaboration and approval
    • Manages and coordinates all communication with candidates
    • Interviews all candidates presented for detailed interviewing by hiring managers, which includes face-to-face, behavioral- based interviewing methodologies and the PPS assessment tool
    • Manages the scheduling and logistics of all interviews between candidates and hiring managers
    • Prepares candidates for interviewing and specific hiring managers by providing detailed information on the company, our business strategy, department background, job descriptions, and expectation-setting
    • Organizes, leads and documents post-interview debrief / feedback and post-mortems with interview teams and candidates
    • Write complete and detailed search assignment , ensuring an understanding of job-duties responsibilities and business requirements
    • Develop and maintain a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified leaders.
    • Leverage online recruiting
    • Maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates, searches, hiring managers interactions, and other recruiting activities to ensure a safe and thorough audit if required
  • Stays informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques in order to be competitive in state of the art recruiting practices

Relationships with Others Jobs:

• This role will have a high level of interaction with Business Managers, the HR team and external vendors.

Qualification Profile:

Work Experience:

• At least 5 years experience in full life-cycle recruiting

Knowledge and Skills:

• Expert knowledge in all full life-cycle recruiting components including, but not limited to, sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing, legal, job analysis, wage and salary trends, relationship management, and due diligence.

• Must be able to manage competing demands, accept criticism and constructive feedback, while being extremely adaptable and flexible.

• Knowledge and extensive past use of a server-based applicant tracking system, preferably Taleo.

• Excellent project management, writing, and oral communication skills are required.

• Ability to build search assignment abstracts from client engagement discussions and forms.

• Demonstrated ability to command the attention and respect at all levels

• Demonstrated ability to recruit for a broad/deep range of positions.

• Demonstrated ability to function/recruit on a national, multi-location level.

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.

• Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills.

• Must be Internet savvy and experienced in mining online databases.
