As a Corporate Tax Manager,

Here is a glimpse of what you will do:

  • Responsible for the quarterly and annual ASC 740 provision process
  • Manage process to timely file Federal, State & Local income tax returns, estimates and extensions
  • Preparation of all financial statement disclosures, coordination with SEC Reporting team.
  • Determination and documentation of tax treatment for all major transactions, including treatment under ASC 740.
  • Support M&A activities including due diligence and integration.
  • Assist with the integration of tax planning strategies into the income tax processes
  • Ensure compliance files are audit ready and assist with the both internal and external audits.
  • Provide guidance to business units and other corporate departments as required.
  • Administrate performance reviews and advise on career planning for direct reports on a timely basis.
  • Coaches and trains Senior Tax Accountants, Tax Accountants, and Tax Interns.
  • Other projects as required.

Here is some of what you will need:

  • BS/BA in Accounting or Finance, CPA or Advance Degree (MBA, MST, etc.) a plus.
  • 6-10 years large public accounting experience or related large corporation tax experience.
  • Significant hands on experience with tax accounting (ASC 740) (5 years or more).
  • Solid multistate & local income tax experience (minimum 5 years)
  • OneSource Tax Provision & Compliance software experience.
  • Well-developed understanding of Federal & State Taxation, with a high level understanding of International.
  • Ability to perform tax research in an efficient manner and train others.
  • History of successful management indicating a sound business decision making capability.
  • Strong financial acumen and well-developed problem solving capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships with customers, peers, subordinates, and a general employee population.
  • Successful track record of team building and talent development.
  • Proficient in general office environment software (Microsoft Office, etc.).
