As a Cost Accountant, you will be responsible for all cost accounting activities. This involves preparing and analyzing financial information as well as performing collection duties. You will be accountable for ensuring that all financial deadlines are met.


  • Generate analytic reports to measure operational profitability, product cost analysis, raw material pricing variance and other reports as requested.
  • Review monthly costs for manufacturing operations and recommends accounting adjustments as necessary.
  • Ensure inventory is accurately valued in accordance with GAAP.
  • Identify system tools required to continuously improve product/cost analysis and reporting.

Other Duties

  • Conducts periodic review of systems used to ensure all BOM's and Routings are calculating costs correctly.
  • Provides updated cost data as necessary to those involved in pricing process to ensure profitability is maintained.
  • Participate in physical inventory process and ensure financial policies are properly followed.
  • Special projects as required.


  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting required
  • 3+ years of progressive cost analysis experience.
  • Budgeting and forecasting experience required and must demonstrate the ability to understand how operational activities impact financial results.
