Credit Analyst

Overall Purpose and Objective of Position
Provide oversight of Credit Risk reporting function.
Assist Credit Risk in gathering information for review of Credit Grade and RR limit for US producers and export customers.
Assist Traders/Marketers in Master Data Management entry of new export customers.
Maintain accurate Master Data information on existing export customers.
Provide support to users of the MDM system and serve as the liaison with the MDM Service Team.
Review and approve Export contracts/Fixations/Amendments.
Review all completed contracts each month for the over/underfill process.
Serve as contact with IT and users for ATLAS contract questions. Responsible for USDA Export Report each week.
Participates as a "SuperUser" in testing for both web portal and ATLAS updates/enhancements.

Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions
• Organize and conduct presentations to clarify the amendment request process for departments submitting large numbers of incorrect requests.
• Prepare Standard Operating Procedure for most commonly utilized processes.
• Review all export contracts entered into ATLAS for complete detail. Approve contracts and price fixations when detail is verified.
• Assist in obtaining proper backup for contract changes, especially change of contract counterparty.
• Assist in reviewing the SP Amendment Request site and analyzing to determine the cause of amendments in order to resolve recurring issues.
• Coordinate MDM process, liaising with users in Memphis and Fresno, as well as with MDM Service Team in India. Provide support and clarification where required.
• Serve as the contact point for IT with regard to an understanding of contract issues and how changes in ATLAS affect contracts.
• Pull information and compile for submission of USDA Export Report each week.
• Pull information and compile all contracts for the under/overfill process each month. Coordinate with other offices to confirm intercompany contracts can be under/overfilled.
• Provide backup to department manager, especially with regard to performing contract and credit risk functions in manager's absence.
• Perform all related responsibilities as required.

Education/Professional Certifications/Licenses
MBA preferred, or equivalent experience in a related field.

Five years of experience with contracts and credit risk issues.

• Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software, MS Word, and Excel.
• Extreme attention to detail required.
