Job Description

The Credit and Collections Manager will develop and administer all credit and collection programs, perform the investigation of credit risk in customers and suppliers, and advise the President, Chief Financial Officer, and Controller on course of action for credit applications. This Manager designs and implements processes to improve cash flow and reduce receivables.

Daily duties include, but not limited to:
* Performs credit and reference checks for all new customers requesting credit
* Works closely with Controller and/or Chief Financial Officer to determine credit limit
* Notifies appropriate staff of new credit for customers
* Monitors and negotiates on the collections of overdue accounts as agreed upon by the President and Chief Financial Officer
* Monitors credit and collection processes and operations
* Recommends opportunities for improvement
* Establishes a working relationship with customers for collection practices
* Creates weekly reporting for distribution to Executive Members
* Monitors cash flow and payment trends by customers and reports to Executive Members when applicable
