Are you looking for a fast paced, team oriented work enviroment?

Our Client Located on the Northwest Side of Indianapolis is looking to add a Credit Card Analyst to their team. A successful candidate must be able to understand chargebacks, research any issues, and have a high level of accuracy. This individual would join the team on a contract to hire basis, and would have the following responsibilities:

The Credit Card Analyst will analyze, record and report monthly the credit card fees and sales volume. This individual will focus on improving internal processes, better develop data collection and reporting, problem research, implementation of resolutions to those problems, and assisting with new merchant set up.

Job Duties may include, but are not limited to:

* Analyze, record, and report on monthly credit card fee and sales volume

o Book monthly credit card fees to general ledger

o Reconcile monthly reports from processor to GL/bank accounts.

o Review fees for accuracy and potential processing issues.

o Generate monthly reports

o Assist Credit Card Administrator with customer service calls

o Process Refunds

* Assist Senior Accountant - Treasury with maintaining data warehouse:

o Enter monthly credit card fees (fees, discounts, and interchange) into database

o Enter monthly bank fees into database

* Develop/generate monthly activity and comparative reports

* Create and maintain merchant accounts for the rep

* Chargeback and Inquiries / Maintain chargeback reconciliation

* Credit Card Sales Reports

* Complete bank reconciliations for any credit card journal entries and transactions that hit our Corporate accounts.

Education / Certifications Required: (If applicable)

  • Associates Degree
  • Some accounting background preferred.
  • Clear, professional and positive telephone voice.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • MS Excel proficiency required.

Strong analytical and organization skills needed.
