Job Description

Vaco Indianapolis has partnered with a company located NE Indianapolis to fill a contract Customer Dispute Specialist role.

Responsibilities for this role are, but not limited to:

  • Liaison for sales representatives to take in inquiries and report out status of disputes using tracking and reporting tools
  • Dispatch disputes to the appropriate internal teams
  • Perform investigation and resolution of customer disputes
  • Create debit and credit memos in SAP in accordance with documented procedures while assessing the financial impact
  • Reconciliations of customer credits/debits
  • Exhibit teamwork and collaborate with peers and internal stakeholders as needed to determine priority and collaborate on issues. Pulls appropriate team members together for expertise and problem resolution.
  • Track metrics


  • Strong analytical and reconciliation skills with high attention to detail
  • Research analysis and accurate identification, resolution, and tracking of root causes to build rich and actionable data

  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills including the ability to do some advanced functions within various software applications
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated contract administration and process knowledge including the impact and effect on business performance
