Job Description

We are currently hiring for a Customer Service Account Specialist to join a growing team in Richmond. This position is responsible for interacting with customers in efforts of ensuring customer satisfaction. Additionally, the person in this role will create, maintain, and enhance relationships with clients while overseeing contracts and bid. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills as well as customer and account management proven abilities.

Responsibilities include:
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with current and new customers
  • Acknowledge receipt of all orders
  • Receive and process orders
  • Coordinate with buyers to ensure timely product delivery
  • Assist in generating sales
  • Resolve conflict regarding product, price, delivery, and billing.
  • Ensure that all invoices have been received after delivery
  • Issue credits for any shortages or damage to delivered products
  • Maintaining all contract sheets and order guides, as well as obtaining renewed bid pricing
  • Respond to phone calls and emails regarding contracts
  • Contract management to include releasing orders in the routing system, printing labels, checking dates, and completing bills of lading
  • Research and follow up on payment deductions
  • Check drop shipmen purchase orders
  • Copy, log, and file expenses for trucks, trailers, and warehouse equipment
