Job Description

Our client located on the South West side of Indianapolis is looking to add to their innovative team!

The Customer Service Representative interacts with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services and to obtain details and resolve complaints. Support customers by processing quotes and orders.

Job will Include:

* Enter quotes and orders that come in via phone, email, fax, web, etc.

* Schedule, track, change, expedite, cancel, and follow-up on orders, product certifications, enter returns and up sell

* Provide technical support and customer solutions

* Create bills of material

* Manage Customer Portals

* Provide order solutions to customers

* Communicate order tracking information to customers

* Answer phone calls and provide solutions or direct calls to appropriate personnel

* Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • One year experience working in customer service
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Competency in the use of Microsoft Office products and Phone systems
  • Excellent general office skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and active listening skills
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Ability to analyze, review, and interpret information then translate and explain what the information means and make recommendations
  • Ability to solve complex problems and identify solutions
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication & division)
  • Ability to understand basic mechanical concepts
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and pleasant demeanor
