Job Description



Our client is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative for their Call Center.

As the first point of contact for customers, the Customer Service Representative will be responsible for accurately interpreting and resolving the caller's inquiry and providing excellent service for customer satisfaction. You will have an opportunity to apply your excellent telephone skills as well as further develop your customer service skills and have a role in the company's growing operations.

Specific Responsibilities Include

  • Meet and achieve department standards for phone availability, logged in times, the quantity of calls taken, hold times, and importing documents
  • Answer incoming telephone inquiries from customers or their representatives
  • Process and document all transactions in administration systems and workflow processes
  • Send service forms to customers or agents
  • Provide information to other departments as needed for follow up or additional assistance, reports death claims to Contract Administration unit
  • Make outgoing calls to other financial services companies regarding the status of pending 1035 transfers and exchanges
  • Assist with routine tasks related to maintaining contract information, such as address and/or beneficiary changes
  • May participate in special projects that help support Contract Administration, Customer Service or Agency Service units and work on special project teams that cross department lines

Skills & Experience Required

  • Prefer Associate or Bachelor degree in Business related field or equivalent training or work experience
  • Two to four years prior life insurance or annuity products administration preferred
  • Minimum two to four years' experience in a high functioning call center or customer service environment is a must
  • Excellent oral, written and listening skills, and ability to clearly articulate complex information to others
  • Exceptional phone skills and professional demeanor and language skills
  • Organized, detail oriented and able to multi-task
