Job Description


Role and Responsibilities


  • General Finance:

    • Update forecasting tool with actual financials
    • Update carrier financial analysis spreadsheets and fleet owner financial analysis spreadsheets
    • Interpreting data to include filtering and "cleaning" to locate and correct potential problems
    • Maintain truck inventory list for working units
    • Fuel reporting internally as well as to carriers
    • Repair and maintenance tracking
    • Key Performance Indicator maintenance and tracking
    2. Other duties

    • Operational ad hoc reports
    • Mileage tracking
    • Branding Incentive tracking
    • Develop new tools to assist operations and accounting in processing their job functions
    • Other duties as assigned
    Qualifications and Education Requirements

    • College Degree recommended.
    • 1-2 years financial analysis experience.
    • Computer skills: Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Access, Excel) and Outlook. Some SQL knowledge preferred but not required
    • Must be able to learn new software such as Oracle Process Automation, Truckmate, Financial Systems.
    • Knowledge of Crystal Reporting and Business Objects is a plus.
    • Well organized.
    • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
    • Creativity in problem solving
    • Strong oral and written communication skills.
    • Self-starter with high level of motivation.
    • Must have good attitude and ability to interact well with others in person and over the phone.
    • Must be dependable due to the small office environment.
    • Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
