Summary:

Reporting to the Assistant Controller, the Data Analyst works in a fast-paced environment, engaging with a variety of financial, commercial and executive professionals inside the company. Primary responsibilities include the management and processing of complex sales and operational data, and direct interaction with regional leadership. Data Analysts demonstrate a high attention to detail, confidence, and entrepreneurial mindset. Candidates should be comfortable working in a team environment, while also juggling multiple priorities on tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Review raw sales and market sales data received in various formats, and standardize its processing.
  • Review and analyze transactions, as well as monthly/quarterly sales performance.
  • Use internal proprietary tools to manipulate and migrate investment data into the Platform.
  • Deals with large volumes of data, understands and explores data critical to business.
  • Works with different business units to understand the business demands with respect to Data and Analytics.
  • Conducts advanced analytical tasks, data mining, predictive modeling and clustering analytics to enable improvement to its products, services and processes.
  • Analyzes business critical data and recommends improvements.
  • Works with large data sets from both within and external to (e.g. plant data, sales data, customer data) and conducts advanced analytical tasks, such data conversions, filtering, fusion, aggregations and data mining.
  • Design scalable data management and entry process solutions that can be readily implemented across the team
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Assistant Controller

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Mathematics is preferred but not required.
  • 2-5 years of experience
  • Technology proficiency is essential, advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required. Power BI, Data Warehouse and Microsoft Access skills are preferred.
  • Candidate must exhibit strong financial and analytical skills.
  • Candidate must be client service oriented and demonstrate an ability to problem solve.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet reporting deadlines, and demonstrate flexibility with delivery of assignments.
