Job Description

Vaco is currently looking for a Data Architect for our end client here in Tampa. This role is a Direct Hire opportunity targeting 120k. This company is in the Healthcare space. The ideal candidate is proficient in SQL Server and some of the newer technologies such as MDS, DQS, MDM, and GDB. This candidate is responsible for the design, extract, transform and air data retrieval from their external systems. This candidate must have experience with hands-on data modeling and work with database technologies such as SSRS, SSIS, stored procedures etc. You must have clinical healthcare experience! Requirements

  • 10-12 years of overall IT development experience in data modeling, logical database design and data warehouse design necessary
    • At least 3 years of hands-on data modeling experience for data warehouse solutions
    • 3 or more years of experience in database technologies: SQL Server, Stored Procedure, Indexing, SSRS and/or SSIS
    • At least 2 years hands-on experience in Logical and Physical Data Modeling
    • Direct experience with data warehousing and dimensional data modeling is preferred
    • 3 or more years of experience creating and maintaining ETL tools and applications for data cleansing and data transformations
  • Data-oriented personality with hands-on experience using relational models, object models, hierarchy data models and network data models
  • Good scripting and programming skills for bringing data into a data lake using ETL and data cleansing as a handover to the development team
  • Experience with various BI needs (static reporting, ad-hoc slice/dice of data, pattern predict, etc.)
  • Previous experience with standard data marts in healthcare space is a plus
  • Healthcare industry experience is desirable
