Job Description

Vaco is seeking Data Entry/Customer Service candidates for a great IT service management company in the Alpharetta area. This role is designed to support the local warehouse distribution center with shipping and receiving, repairs, and customer orders. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with a target pay range of $17-$18/hr.

Job Duties:

  • Prepare work areas for the day's activities.
  • Read and follow process documents for configuring devices.
  • Configure, process, stage, kit and audit devices per requirements.
  • Keep areas clean and organized to ensure proper delivery and accurate orders.
  • Pack and ship boxes for delivery. Utilize shipper website tools for shipping.
  • Inspect and confirm accuracy of devices.
  • Work in SAP, Salesforce and SONAR systems to support daily activities.
  • Send customers email notifications when orders are shipped as well as anytime necessary to keep customers and sales reps up to date with timing, delays, delivery, etc.
  • Provide device, staging and process support for customers relating to service issues.
  • Execute provisioning activities including: spare device management, kitting, activations, container labeling, asset tag management, pre-staging, installation of images on devices and quality control adherence.
  • Capture all required product identifier data elements as requested (e.g. ESN, IMEI, MAC, etc.).
  • Execute additional warehouse activities including receiving, seed stock process flow, picking items, processing items, cycle counts, inventory process, 5S compliance and inventory disposal.
  • Source spare parts or accessories as directed or required.
  • Execute OEM provided service processes, as applicable.


Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Experience in the data capture/mobile industry working within a repair and provisioning facility, warehouse, OEM centric operations, using Lean Productivity & 5S methodologies a plus but not required.
  • Basic computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite with a focus on Excel formulas and data analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow procedures.
  • Ability to plan, schedule and monitor multiple concurrent tasks to meet agreed deliverables and deadlines.
  • Demonstrated extreme attention to detail, follow directions and maintain accurate documentation.
