Job Duties

- Creates and maintains integrations with databases for multiple systems such as ERP System, Warehouse Management, and eCommerce sites.
- Monitors and improves the performance of SQL Server.
- Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and repairs SQL Databases along with regular maintenance and security management.
- Maintains database backups and recovery infrastructure including quarterly recovery testing.
- Executes T-SQL troubleshooting, query optimization, indexing and Enterprise-edition features.
- Ensures database integrity, stability, and system availability.
- Makes requested changes, updates, and modifications to database structure and data.
- Ensures new and existing processes are properly documented for reference, training, and reporting.
- Creates test plans and performs large percentage of QA testing.
- Communicates with end-users, developers and administration team.
- Develops automated and reusable routines for extracting requested information from database systems.
- Works in partnership with business analysts, software developers, and ERP users to build data transactional and warehousing systems.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

* Associate's or bachelor's degree in an IT related field or equivalent experience.
* Three or more years of experience with SQL Server and PowerShell.
* Experience with SQL Server Enterprise 2016 preferred.
* Experience with VMware preferred.
* SFTP experience preferred.
* Familiarity with enterprise ETL concepts.
* Familiarity with ERP Systems and accounting/operations processes.
* Knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory.
* Knowledge of security and data backup best practices.
