Job Description

Travel: Mileage compensation is covered on anything greater than 25 miles from center city Philadelphia.

Anything greater than 50 miles from center city will have a hotel stay covered.

Techs are responsible for:

1. Inventory and un-boxing equipment

2. Installation of Equipment according to documented processes and procedures.

3. On-site request of software downloads, run verification and testing procedures, and communicate status, escalations, and call closure to the Deployment Support Team (DST).

4. Desktop Support and on-site break fix

Job Requirements:

Must have reliable transportation for local travel

Must have a valid driver's license

Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving ability

Job Responsibilities:

Deploys and installs POS systems

Configures hardware and software for the Point of Sale system

Supports existing stores (Level I Help Desk support) and troubleshoots existing store issues

Performs upgrades for existing stores

Tests new equipment and programs

Ability to work independently without close supervision
