Job Description

The Senior DevOps/AWS Engineer is responsible for designing, engineering, and administering DevOps, CI/CT/CD, container, and deployment platforms located on-premise and in the cloud. The Senior DevOps/AWS Engineer will be responsible for the provisioning of optimized, secured, and performance tuned environments and creating and maintaining relevant build documents and run books. Must be strong in Linux environments but should be comfortable interacting with Windows server environments as needed.

Will administer and configure platforms such as git, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Jira, Confluence, Sonarqube, test automation tools, Artifactory, Ansible, ELK, Docker, and Kubernetes both within on-premise Linux environments as well as within Amazon AWS (EC2, ECS, EKS). Design, install, upgrade, patch, administer, secure, configure, maintain, and monitor these technologies, and suggest optimization and other improvements.
Promote and extend an agile continuous deployment paradigm, with a strong focus on IT automation and scripted configuration using tools like Ansible Tower.

DevOps concepts as well as tools:
CI/CT/CD tools and pipelines (CI %3D Continuous Integration, CT%3D Continuous Testing, CD %3D Continuous Deployment)
Tools are Git, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Confluence, Jira, Sonarqube, Artifactory, Ansible
Managing development related platforms such as ELK (for logging)
Container technology such as Docker and Kubernetes
Setting up and managing the Amazon AWS cloud tenant and services
Including EC2 for hosting, ECS/EKS for containers, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline
Linux, including scripting and automation using ansible (preferably ansible)
