Great team player and genuinely believes in solving challenges as a team. Someone who believes in exploring alternatives and quickly prototyping to validate hypothetical architectures or solutions. Must have strong AWS technologies experience. Azure experience is a plus. Strong experience with Cloud Formation and configuration management systems such as Puppet or Chef or Ansible. A deep understanding and familiarity with: - Linux - Web/Application servers - Apache, Nginx, etc. Monitoring and logging systems - Virtualization and Containers (Docker, ECS). Networking knowledge - Firewalls, VPNs, proxies & Load balancers Experience with Python, shell or other scripting language. Experience with Continuous Integration practices and tools such as TFS, Jenkins Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Git. Experience deploying high availability systems and software. Experience troubleshooting distributed applications. 5+ years working in Engineering, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or similar capacity managing SaaS/PaaS environments.

Development of lifecycle of services from inception and development, through deployment, operation and enhancement. Create, maintain and optimize automated build and deployment pipelines. Proactively investigate new opportunities for automation across Agile and Hybrid teams. Setting realistic resource forecasts through system modeling Implement new tooling to support the SDLC. Perform Release Management function including scheduling, and providing risk and impact analysis. Responsible for ensuring the overall security Troubleshoot and resolve application and middleware issues. Monitor industry trends and keep abreast of new tools and technologies. Develop and automate standard operating procedures around common failure scenarios. Create/maintain documentation of application environments workflows and procedures. Build monitoring and configuration management tools and dashboards
