Job Description

Our client, a growing professional services firm located near Mount Holly, NJ is adding a Director of Accounting Services to the team:

In this position the ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Supervising Staff and Senior Accountants
  • Participating in accounting committee calls
  • Advising and Managing Accounting Services provided to the firm's clientele, including but not limited to advising clients on new pronouncements and technical accounting changes which need to be implemented
  • Coordinating Client Accounting Services, Operational Budgets, and P&L Data with Corporate Accounting

The position requires:

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting
  • CPA License
  • Must have at least 5 years experience as a direct supervisor of 5+ employees, with a track record of mentoring and developing employees whom have progressed under your management and leadership style
  • 10+ years experience for either Public accounting or Corporate Accounting (or a combination) with an expertise for Non-Profit Accounting, specifically having an understanding and application of Non For Profit Section 501(c)(6) Internal Revenue Code for the exemption of business leagues, chambers of commerce, real estate boards, boards of trade and professional leagues, which are not organized for profit.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interface effective with both internal; and external co-workers, leadership, subordinates and business partners.
  • Exceptional Subordinate and Management references.
