Job Description

Vaco is looking for a Director of Digital Experience for our client in Tampa.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end strategic client initiatives; start with an assessment of the client's
  • current digital CX journey, reimagine the future-state customer experience strategy and
  • guide a talented team in developing prototypes.
  • Conceive new Interactive Development features and lead team to "make it happen" by
  • facilitating planning, engaging key stakeholders, driving to a consensus on how to
  • realize it, documenting and always improving process for efficiency.
  • Innovate by continually evolving interactive methodologies that go beyond the norm for
  • web & mobile UI/UX and development starting with current WordPress / PHP efforts and
  • then expanding to web apps, mobile apps, games, VR, and beyond
  • Select, retain, and develop A-players through ongoing leadership, oversight, coaching,
  • and feedback to grow and foster culture of excellence and accountability..
  • Drive agile planning, staffing, resource allocation, and alignment for efficient operational
  • management.
  • Synthesize data and analysis across teams to feed into new service development and
  • own organizational growth.
  • Be a "change agent" to influence and align across internal stakeholders, clients, and
  • community.

Required:

  • 10+ years of professional experience with strong digital and operational experience,
  • including but not limited to organizational development, personnel management, budget
  • and resource development, and strategic planning.
  • Exceptional leadership ability, as well as outstanding communication skills and the talent
  • to influence.
  • Previous experience as an above-average full stack engineer, ideally at a similar type of
  • company (agency or larger organization).
  • Strong digital product design sensibility, including experience planning and conducting
  • usability testing.
  • Ability to navigate large client organizations, build relationships, sell ideas with
  • diplomacy, work and communicate effectively with people at all levels of seniority.
  • Demonstrated success developing and monitoring systems to manage both operational
  • and programmatic work that involve high levels of collaboration
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and manage competing priorities.
  • Flexible and adaptable style-you're a leader who can positively impact both strategic
  • and tactical initiatives and motivate staff during a period of intense growth.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, Economics, Math,
  • Statistics, New Media or Advertising is preferred
