FINANCIAL PLANNING & ANALYSIS DIRECTOR - Large, Prestigious Co - Financial Services - Pay to $180K

Role and Responsibilities:

A leading financial services company is seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis Director to build a world-class financial planning and analysis team at its corporate headquarter. This is an ideal role for a proven finance leader to play a key role in the continued success and growth of this market leader.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead financial planning and analysis for a centralized finance function.
  • Create financial models including building modeling tools, developing annual operating plan, and ensuring numbers and assumptions are valid.
  • Build forecasting models and dive deep into analysis of key business drivers.
  • Partner with divisional and operational leaders throughout the budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning process.
  • Lead financial close and prepare monthly variance analysis.
  • Create and lead financial and statistical presentations for executive management.
  • Create sophisticated financial models that provide financial analysis and decision support to senior leadership on key business components.
  • Manage KPIs and analytics to support business growth and identify business risks.
  • Provide analytical support for strategic initiatives.


Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting with MBA and/or CPA highly preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive responsibility in FP&A roles, with most recent 5 years at director level.
  • Financial services industry is highly preferred. nb
  • Proven experience building complex analytical tools and models, KPIs and best practices.
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proactive and team centered, with a collaborative working style.
  • Advanced ability with Microsoft Excel and the full MS Office Suite, and strong experience with accounting and finance systems and tools.
  • Experience with a large ERP and financial and statistical reporting tools.
  • Self -starter with strong problem solving and complex analytical skills.
