Job Description

The Director of FP&A owns and oversees all financial planning and analysis related activities for the Company. The Director of FP&A also supports and assists with the implementation, maintenance and review of internal controls, financial systems, processes, and corporate policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement, directs, and maintains the annual operating budget and three-year strategic planning processes.
  • Develop metrics and views of the business to help drive unique insights
  • Manufacturing, Cost, GAAP extensive knowledge.
  • The ability to develop complex budgeting and forecasting financial models which generate fully integrated financials (Statement of Operations, Balance Sheet and Cash Flows).
  • Work closely across functions to incorporate the latest business assumptions into budget and three-year plan analyses and ongoing forecast updates by conducting monthly and adhoc updates to the Company forecast versus actual and budget for results, inclusive of both quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Build detailed financial and customer deal cash flows and value proposition models to support strategic and operational planning, in particular with the Global Business Development, Operations, and Engineering teams.
  • Develop and present analytical findings in clear, concise, and compelling manner that will drive action plans. Support CFO and CEO with executive level board reporting, investor relations and internal strategy presentations.
  • Is a strategic partner with operations and engineering in developing and maintaining costing.
  • Develop and maintain internal reporting packages and financial metrics dashboards.
  • Financial analysis, including budget to actual variance reporting, for monthend close, capital projects and operating budgets, and quarterly operations & engineering projects analysis.
  • publicly-traded company experience preferred
  • Ensure coordination of Sarbanes-Oxley and Policy & Procedure compliance

The Ideal Candidate will have:

  • Advanced degree, preferably an MBA or equivalent preferred, a CPA is desirable.
  • 10+ years of progressive finance experience within a corporate setting, preferable in a manufacturing or technology related environment.
  • Experience in a Publicly Traded Company.
  • Experience in manufacturing cost accounting and service cost analysis preferred.
  • Power user in Excel, ability to generate high quality financial models, spreadsheets, and presentations suitable for Board of Directors reporting
