Job Description

Vaco Atlanta is exclusively looking for a Director of Human Resources role for a healthcare services client we work with in Dunwoody. And while industry experience is a big plus, I am specifically targeting a first time or recently appointed HR Director that is looking to take his or her career to new heights with this rapid growth company that operates in a great industry, protected by demographics. Comp is targeted at $110,000 to $120,000 plus bonus and as our client is on a fast growth trajectory, it realistic to expect commensurate increases over the coming years. In addition, we'll be looking for a related degree, advanced level certifications and great communication skills.   • Employee relations
  • Training and mentorship
  • Key role in developing and maintaining culture
  • Maintains employee records and documentation `
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local laws and industry regulations
  • Advise department managers on legal implications of HR issues related to discipline and employee grievances
  • Develop / imporve employee handbook
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws
  • Other Special Projects (e.g., FLSA related)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field required
  • 5+ years of work experience in HR most recently as a Manager or newly appointed Director
  • Experience in the medical or healthcare services industry is a big plus
  • PHR or other recognized HR certification required. SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification a big plus
  • Strong general knowledge of Human Resources and Payroll
  • Ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated track record of being a decisive leader
  • Ability to analyze complex problems quickly, develop and implement solutions
  • Ability to assess risk and develop Human Resource plans and programs to mitigate liability and ensure operational success
  • Successful track record building proactive programs such as recruiting, diversity, performance reviews, compensation, payroll, and HRIS systems
  • Highly motivated team player with a "can do" attitude
  • Demonstrated success in supporting an organization experiencing rapid growth is a big plus
