Posting - IT Systems Director and Strategist

Growth opportunity in a rapidly expanding firm. As a strategist this individual will be responsible for coordinating and evaluating the multiple technology choices available for managing a firm that focuses on providing world class customer service and results to its clients. The seamless integration of accounting, intake, litigation, management dashboards and case management software will require a level of knowledge and ability to coordinate and maintain software systems as well as the related equipment. Additionally, this candidate must maintain and handle confidential information and assist with various operational duties as assigned while maintaining a professional presence and positive attitude.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the development & transition of new tactical & strategic software upgrades & existing ongoing project management including server migration to the cloud, virtual desktops environment coordination, cloud-based phone system upgrade, disaster recovery plan, security upgrades, & planning & day-to-day functionality.
  • Maintain and upgrade computer operations and functions.
  • Maintain and upgrade the quality and functionality of the phone system.
  • Maintain the computer equipment with no down time.
  • Strategize and/or develop new technology to enable new initiatives and goals.
  • Troubleshoot in-house technology issues and or coordinate with outside vendors on issues.
  • Maintain the highest level of technology security.
  • Supervise and motivate the IT department staff.
  • Assist with training new hires on IT systems, policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT-related discipline or an Associate degree with equivalent work experience
  • Ten years' related experience required
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Prior experience managing outsourced solutions
  • Experience with Windows 7, 8, and 10 desktop operating systems
  • Advanced application, hardware, and network troubleshooting skills
  • Proficient with a variety of computer and telephone applications, including Microsoft Windows/Office Suite, Converged and Hyper-Converged infrastructure
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Prior use of Needles software system a plus
