General Summary:


  • Direct and manage all plant and related administrative operations with overall responsibility for materials management, warehouse management, manufacturing, distribution, shipping and maintenance. Coordinate and influence the activities of the sales management, product management and the product development team both here in the USA and overseas.
  • Lead company in a continuous improvement….Toyota lean process
  • Manage day to day sales / business process from bidding on work, sourcing, manufacturing, warehousing to shipping, installation and warranty.
  • Work with legal staff to insure all government compliance
  • Improve the outsourced supply chain
  • Mediate and resolve all interdepartmental conflicts in an expeditious manner considering what is in the best interest of the company

  • Essential Job Requirements:


  • Overall responsibilities for activities of all personnel, except for Sales & Marketing, Accounting, Legal, and HR and the establishment and achievement of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost goals for the company.
  • Participates in formulating and administering company policies SOP's, directing and coordinating all Divisional department activities to develop and implement long range goals and objectives to meet business and profitability growth objectives.
  • Direct the activities of Vehicle Maintenance, Shipping, Receiving and Scheduling.
  • Ensure timely completion of BOM/Routings using the M2M software
  • Recommend and gain approval of specific and measurable goals, and establish a strategic vision for maintaining cost competitiveness in the industry...
  • Hire, train, and supervise the operations team. Motivate and develop them to reach/exceed agreed upon objectives. Perform periodic reviews of their overall performance and progress toward meeting their objectives with an S O P.
  • Management of the company's global supply chain activities including procurement, logistics and sourcing.
  • Understanding how to move and utilize all resources (people, equipment, materials, and the facility) to their maximum potential and give the company its greatest return on its investment.
  • Recommend cost effective changes to plant and warehouse operations and prudent additions and changes to machinery and equipment.
  • Ensure capital projects are completed on a timely basis and within the approved budget.
  • Provide a safe and productive work environment for all team members.
  • Proven Technical skills in materials and inventory management, production scheduling and preventive maintenance.
  • Ability to travel to both overseas and domestic locations and job sites nationwide.

  • Supervisory Responsibilities:


  • Directly supervise and manage the daily activities of salaried employees.

  • Leadership: A demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others. Provides leadership for problem resolution to facilitate faster improvements and improved working relationships.

  • Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the plant level team and administrative support including overseas.

  • Education and Experience:


  • MBA or equal experience
  • Very smart and able to multitask

  • Lean and Toyota continuous improvement training
  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering or a related field; but maybe extensive work experience considered in lieu of education.
  • Minimum of 10 years of manufacturing management experience with oversight of supply chain activities, order fulfillment and post-sale warranty service.
  • Track record of successful project management, dedication to continuous improvement, and team experience.
  • Ability to use personal computer skills in a networked environment.
  • Management style and duties must be consistent with and support the "The Toyota Way" The ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Requires outstanding "people" skills and coordination with the CEO & Owner

  • Physical Requirements:

    40-60 hours weekly and 60 hours peak season -- July 4-Aug 30th. Travel overseas.

    Physically stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, lift, pull, and push as required to carry out job functions.
