Job Description

Vaco Indianapolis has partnered with a company located downtown Indianpolis to fill a Director of Operations role! This role requires financial industry experience!

Responsibilites include but not limited to:

  • Manage day to day operations of the company, and ensure team standards are being met.
  • Support and train team members on compliance standards.
  • Handle compliance audits to ensure team members have proper documentation.
  • Serve as primary point to resolve complex client issues.
  • Attract, hire, onboard, and retain team members.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of contracting and licensing procedures
  • Maintain documentation of management discussions and growth plans for all direct reports

  • Prepare, lead, and execute all team meetings and effectively communicate decisions from those meetings to the greater team
  • Monitor and manage office holidays, employee time off, and other group benefits for the team

  • Serve as point of contact to team IT issues


  • Must have financial industry experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in operations support
  • Experience user of Microsoft Office Suite of software
  • Advanced knowledge of CRM Software (Microsoft Dynamics preferred)
  • Good range of financial services knowledge and ability to expand that range
  • Bachelor's Degree
