Job Description

Our client, located in New York City is adding a Director of Reporting and Training to the team.

In this role the ideal candidate will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Work as a Liaison for the Director of Information Technology to show expertise and provide implementation assistance for the Financial ERP system within the organization.
  • Work together with the Head of Information Technology, providing support for design, implementation and training for assigned projects.
  • Develop and implement plans and schedules for all assigned financial and database systems.
  • Train staff on organizations software systems.
  • Provide hands on support for enhancements and system development with respect to the organizations systems Financial Edge - FENXT, Blackbaud, Microsoft Excel and Access.

Requirements for the position include:

  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting/ Computer Science preferred
  • Strong Accounting skills required and Previous financial software experience preferred
  • 5+ years of large Not For Profit accounting/financial accounting database experience required.
  • Proficient with Financial Edge or FENXT, and Microsoft Access and Excel required, along with proven success with management/training experience.
  • Proven knowledge of financial reporting standards such as preparation of Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Budget to Actuals, as well as Statement of Activities, Financial Position, Cash Flows and Functional Expense, required.
