Job Description

Our client is looking to add a Driver Recruiter to their team in Memphis. This role will report to the VP, Safety & Recruiting. This is a great company to work for, they are one of the largest distributors of global commodities. The company has 11 terminals throughout the nation, and currently has 350 owner operators.

  • Assists in developing strategy & driving the day-to-day elements to recruit 10 owner operators per week
  • Determine marketing content, manages advertising spend & defines the most effective marketing channels
  • Defines & instills recruiting best practices across the group including conversion metrics & behaviors
  • Builds a team from the ground up to achieve maximum results defined as the number of new owner operators to join the affiliated companies & regions
  • Instills a customer service culture throughout the organization & for the owner-operator: build a relationship quickly (over the phone), gain trust in the organization, keep the other party engaged and informed, minimizing "fall out"
  • Focuses on the right behaviors to lead to the right outcome
  • Collaborates with company executives, their employees & agents to understand priorities and identify opportunities for growth-improvement
  • Drives continuous innovation through: technology, learning & teach new sales skills and operate efficiently
  • Stays on top of trends & shares industry best practices
  • Enforces tools, processes, and collateral to improve recruiting productivity & effectiveness
  • Monitors budgets & targets, reports those to the appropriate company executive
