eCOMMERCE ANALYST

Position Summary

The eCommerce Analyst is a critical part of the eCommerce team - owning the data reporting, analytics and business application tools to drive sales in this channel. The eCommerce Analyst will play an important role in the eCommerce channel strategy through data collection and analysis. This position is responsible for evaluating existing and potential online markets to grow revenue and drive marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leveraging Tableau, create and monitor weekly and monthly sales dashboards to provide insights and trends to customer and product sales metrics
  • Collaborating with Sales & Merchandise planning, create an eCommerce forecast with special consideration to sourcing lead-times, sales trends, and new product launches
  • Manage and optimize inventory position of eCommerce designated goods in both company owned and 3rd party warehouses
  • Evaluate channel costs to create item-level strategies optimizing for profitability based on the procurement model
  • Create post-promotional analysis to be leveraged in the creation of future promotional planning/ strategies
  • Using an in-depth knowledge of CPC strategies, oversee the sponsored products program to optimize for ROAS
  • Travel for tradeshows and customer appointments, working with customers directly or with a sales director.

Requirements:

Education: BS degree in business or related field preferred; MBA preferred.

Experience: 3 to 5 years' experience in a sales analyst role; eCommerce experience mandatory. Experience in consumer products is strongly preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong strategic, analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to break down complex problems, formulate plans, conduct financial analysis
  • Knowledge of search methodologies including SEO and SEM
  • Prior experience with developing and maintaining sponsored product advertising strategy
  • Strong understanding of inventory forecasting and planning
  • Experience with Tableau, Amazon Seller Central, Amazon Vendor Central, Salsify, and other digital sales tools/portals strong preferred
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Ability to understand technical details
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel domestically
