Electronics Technician in Louisville, KY at Vaco

We have an excellent opportunity for an Electronics Technician to support the Sales and Marketing efforts of a growing company in Louisville, KY. This is a 6 month contract position starting immediately!

Key Responsibilites

• Ability to operate a soldering and rework station
• Basic troubleshooting of issues and repair equipment as directed
• Perform electronic component replacement
• Maintain an accurate and organized inventory of parts
• Repair of mobile electronic devices such as tablet and handheld devices
• Orally communicate with store personnel regarding the proper use of equipment and diagnose service issues
• Utilize company email system to send and receive messages
• Properly complete all repair, labor, parts purchasing and usage documentation in a timely fashion
• Comply with all department and company policies and procedures
• Audit registered store equipment identification lists

Minimum Position Qualifications & Education Requirements:

• 1-3 years' proven experience in mechanical/electrical and electronic maintenance and satisfactory overall performance
• Ability to use manufacturer interface software
• Must hold and maintain a valid driver's license
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime when necessary

Desired Previous Job Experience/Education:

• Ability to read engineering drawings, manuals, and schematics
• Advanced electronic repair troubleshooting
• Programming of NAND chips
