Job Description

Vaco Indianapolis has partnered with a company located in Noblesville to fill an Employee Benefits Manager role.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

 Analyze and model benefit plan costs for strategic planning; track and report on plan performance; forecast and budget variances and manage plan funding and cost analysis
 Identify opportunities for program enhancements or cost savings
 Design and develop new benefits and programs in response to organizational, employee and competitive concerns
 Develop comprehensive business cases to support change recommendations; present business cases to the executive team
 Management of all benefit and leave vendor relations in Canada and the United States
 Coordinate the assessment, planning, development, implementation and ongoing evaluation of health and wellness programs
 Manage employee benefit projects, including Open Enrollment and employee benefit communication strategy
 Manage the development of appropriate responses to necessary changes; ensuring company compliance with all applicable local, state and federal regulations, including ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, ACA, etc. Ensure compliance with reporting requirements of all relevant government rules and regulations
 Collaborate with third-party vendors and organizations to build and maintain programs
 Manage Leave of Absences tracking and compliance, including Family Medical Leave Act and Americans with Disability Act
 Respond to benefit inquiries from employees on plan provisions, benefits enrollment, qualifying events, status changes and other general inquires
 Ensure accurate reporting, process benefits billing and prepare benefit audits
 Coordinate COBRA benefits through 3rd party administrator
 Manage 401(K) deposits, reconciliation, audits, and annual governmental reporting requirements
 Verify all posted benefit documents are to up-to-date and distribute to employees
 Manage dependent eligibility requirements and confirm appropriate enrollment in plans at all times
 Provide training and support to employees and Human Resources staff
 Performs other duties as assigned
