Job Description

Our Fortune 500 client's team is piloting an invoice advance product and needs Sales Representatives to help us identify, engage, and educate Small Businesses on our product. When appropriate matches are found, the sales manager will work with the new customer and our operations team to facilitate a good onboarding experience. The Sales Rep will work in close partnership with our product and marketing teams to provide feedback prospect and customer feedback to improve our product and marketing.

Our team is a small, entrepreneurial group focused on leveling the playing field for small businesses. We believe that small businesses should be able to have access to the same resources, financing, and expertise that larger businesses do. We believe that small businesses shouldn't have to choose between slow, cumbersome banks with attractive rates, or modern fast online lending at exorbitant rates.

Your role will be to bring on small business customers with annual revenues of $1 to $25+M to our product and obtain experience to exit the pilot phase and scale our product more broadly.
Ideally you will have a small business and financing background to allow you to quickly relate to small business owners, understand their financing needs, and help share the value provided by Invoice Advantage.
On any given day, you might be…
* Calling potential customers and understanding their financing needs
* Working with the product and development teams to share customer feedback and suggest new and enhanced product features
* Assisting the operations team in conducting a smooth onboarding process for new customers
* Providing insights to the analyst team to improve our targeting efforts

Main responsibilities:
* Conduct calls across an existing customer database to develop warm leads for Invoice Advantage. Schedule and complete follow up calls and meetings to develop new Invoice Advance customers
* Prepare and complete sales presentations
* Help encourage adoption by performing timely follow-up calls to ensure new customers are satisfied with Invoice Advantage
* Maintains and updates the customer relationship management system regarding sales calls, pipelines, closed sales, etc. to enable the generation of monthly activity reports to track sales and revenue growth by market segment

* Proven success in Small Business Sales
* Demonstrated ability to build trust and foster relationships with senior management of customers and prospects
* Excellent business writing and communication skills
* Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
* Highly proficient in Google Suite: Docs, Sheets, Pages, and MS Excel
