Entry Level Financial Analyst $40K+ in Memphis, TN at Vaco

Vaco Staffing is partnering with a global company with headquarters in East Memphis to find ENTRY-LEVEL Financial Analyst Get the chance to work with high profile accounts including the top ten companies on the Fortune 500 list! Candidates must have a 4-year finance (or related) degree and the ability to use higher-level Excel functions (pivot tables, VLOOKUP), 1-2 years of experience is preferred but not required.

Financial Analyst Responsibilities

• Assists managers in resolving critical issues for clients by researching and gathering information about payment transactions and other relevant items as requested.
• Prepares abstracts and edits them for accuracy.
• Provide narratives on monthly variance reports. Provide analysis and interpretation of information to clients.
• Tracks payables and receivables associated with the leases in the portfolio.
• Prepare invoices for subtenants, reconcile subtenant accounts, review incoming invoices for errors/accuracy with lease document and ensure correct coding.
• Perform annual operating expense reconciliations, monitor audit windows and audit requirements contained in the lease documents.
• May conduct financial analysis/accounting as appropriate, including AR/AP, rent rolls, and budgets by required accounting principles (GAAP, Tax, Cash, etc.).

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• 1-3 years of experience in corporate accounting or finance position preferred
• Ability to comprehend and interpret business documents and respond effectively to sensitive issues.
• Experience with using higher-level Excel functions (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP)
