Job Description

Environmental Graphic Designer


The environmental graphic design team is responsible for creating unique and comprehensive signage packages for our client base, including wayfinding, programming and the production of detailed construction drawings. As with all our team members, there will be direct contact with our clients, which requires a high-level of professionalism.

Salary Expectation:

$50,000 - $80,000

Requirements:

  • Associate or Bachelor degree in Graphic Design or a related artistic design field
  • High technical proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically able to demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of Adobe Illustrator
  • Must have thorough knowledge of Wayfinding
    • Orientation
    • Route Decision
    • Route Monitoring
    • Destination Recognition
  • Ability to work interactively in an open office environment, supporting and collaborating with team members
  • Must have strong critical thinking skills, with strategic and systematic attention to detail
  • Ability to read and comprehend architectural plans and complex documents
  • Ability to travel on short notice via air or ground trips (out of town travel estimate, up to 25%)

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of sign shop drawings and layouts using Adobe Illustrator
  • Preparation of sign location plans and message schedules
  • Must have a strong understanding of wayfinding

Attending client meetings and performing sign site surveys as required, locally or nationally

Location:

The candidate will be required to re-locate to Nashville, TN. Reimbursement of certain moving expenses is provided. Qualified candidates must submit a resume and a design portfolio if able.
