Description

Summary:

Oversee a variety of environmental projects in a designated geographic area and provide support to the appropriate departments, maintenance personnel and location's Regional Manager, District Managers and Site Managers.

Responsibilities:

Stay abreast of all new local, state and federal environmental regulations.

Develop and enforce all environmental practices and guidelines.

Review and recommend improvements to existing environmental programs for compliance assurance.

Prepare and maintain UST permit applications, as needed by regulatory agencies.

Prepare and maintain other permits and reports pertaining to environmental compliance.

Investigate and manage daily ATG (Automatic Tank Gauge) alarms and reports.

Assist internal and external personnel in emergency response and clean-up regarding release of any regulatory products and/or chemical spills.

Work with all regulatory agency on providing reports, corrections regarding NOV (Notice of Violations) and other request relating to environmental compliance.

Manage environmental projects regarding, remediation and equipment removal and/or replacement.

Negotiate with 3rd party contractors for equipment and installation to obtain best pricing and time lines.

Maintain site data base on all necessary documents, and required system testing per federal, state and local compliance.

Insure that the appropriate procedures are being followed on waste disposal to comply with regulatory requirements.

Train and educate company personnel on companies environmental and compliance programs.

Other duties that are assigned by management.
