Job Description

Summary:

Events Coordinator is responsible for strategizing and managing marketing events and trade shows. Will execute events plan to generate new leads, nurture existing prospects, strengthen relationships with existing customers, and help grow channel/reseller networks.

Duties:

Events Budgeting - Manage the overall events budget

Event Logistics - Plan and manage delivery of all properties needed for event. Coordinate travel and lodging for event staff. Host pre-show meeting before every event to ensure details are shared with all staff and key stakeholders. When applicable, build/takedown tradeshow booths. Coordinate pre-show walk-throughs for larger properties.

Booth & SWAG Inventory - Manage all properties, ensuring they are in good condition with all necessary accessories included for every event. Coordinate and order event giveaways/SWAG as needed.

Staffing - Strategize selection of staff for each event. Train staff to be completely prepared for each event including all expectations. Manage staff at the event to ensure goals are met

Lead Generation - Establish thorough processes and a strong brand presence at trade shows and conferences to draw in, qualify, and capture important data on net new leads to feed the sales or channel funnel

Lead Nurturing - Coordinate demos, meetings, and dinners at conferences and trade shows for existing leads and prospects. Understand SDR follow up process for leads to make sure they are contacted appropriately to increase opportunity conversion rates and decrease the time-to-close in the sales cycle

Channel/Reseller Growth - Work with Marketing and Channel/Reseller teams to execute exceptional events to help facilitate educating potential partners and resellers

Customer Appreciation - Plan and execute unique experiences for customers to increase customer engagement, provide upsell opportunities, and reduce churn

Show Marketing - Select and project manage pre/at/post show marketing options to drive traffic to the booth and ensure a strong brand presence

Competitive Intel - Collect intel on competitors at events to include sales approach, booth set-up, content from speaking engagements, flyers and SWAG. Create competitive analyses for sales and marketing teams to leverage in marketing strategies and sales calls

Marketing Event Presentations - Discover strategic speaking opportunities, recruit key customers to present when applicable, and collaborate with the Communications Manager to respond to Calls for Speakers
