Vaco is currently recruiting on an Expense Report Administrator opening with a pharmaceutical company in Aliso Viejo, CA. Ideal candidates for this position will have a strong background in accounts payable, travel & expense reports, compliance and previous work experience with Concur. This will be a long-term contract engagement that will be flexible on pay and will begin as a remote position.
Main Responsibilities include:
- Perform quality control audits of expense reports in expense reporting system to ensure compliance with Federal Sunshine Act and state law reporting requirements
- Report quality control findings to assess and provide oversight of outsourced auditing performance
- Audit all expedited reports in a timely manner
- Assist with live training on expense report system and procedures
- Assist in updating and creation of training materials
- Address on-going expense report issues with the Compliance team to ensure proper additional training is conducted as appropriate
- Perform analysis and reporting as requested by sales management
- Assist with SOX and compliance audit requests
- Back-up admin for Concur
- Assist in user account maintenance: new accounts, manager change, and terminations.
- Assist with updating the Concur Profile used by the outsource audit team
- Utilize Concur reporting to help maintain users accounts and to ensure timely report processing and payment
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field
- Minimum of 1-2 years of expense report system experience
- Previous experience working with Concur
- Strong analytical, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organization skills and an ability to work autonomously and in a fast-paced team environment
- Must demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, work efficiently, and meet deadlines is essential.
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
