Job Description

Busy Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Practice seeking an experienced Full-Time, Full Charge Bookkeeper, to manage Practice's day-to-day accounting and operational requirements. Candidate must practice high confidentiality and have extensive knowledge in both accounting and administrative functions, including HR tasks, record keeping, payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory, and other related duties. Must be able to multi-task, work independently, possess strong communication skills, and be highly organized with a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities to include:

  • Responsible for maintaining General Ledger, preparing and processing month-end close, including reconciliation of journal entries, accruals, departmental allocations, prepaid expenses, and fixed assets.
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and efficient record keeping, providing Full Cycle Accounting for financial statements and analytics for end of each period.
  • Assist in all areas of business operations, providing clerical and administrative support as assigned by management; Perform other job-related duties, as requested.
  • Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements.
  • Hold a high level of professionalism and confidentiality when interacting with clients, patients, and staff members.

Job Qualifications:

  • Proficient in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, Excel, and other related Accounting software
  • Proven experience and skills in general accounting principles, administrative functions, and related business administration duties.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field preferred
  • A minimum of 5 years working experience as a Bookkeeper, required.
  • Experience working in a plastic surgery/dermatology/medical office, highly preferred.
