Field Marketing SpecialistOverview
- Work with our client's central Enterprise marketing and regional sales to contribute to pipeline and unit goals.
Responsibilities
- Execute quarterly regional field marketing plans that roll up to marketing/business OKRs.
- Partner closely with our client's cloud marketing team to include their products in events
- Work with our speakers' bureau to research and pitch events in your region - focus on speaking opportunities
- As appropriate, seek out opportunities across our client's internal teams
- Identify and run events that support awareness and lead gen goals. As appropriate, focus on:
- Our client's led events
- Third-party industry events
- Partner events
- Execute programmatic (repeatable and scalable) events such as customer/prospect roundtables and forums to help sales teams form new connections
- Execute PMM/Sales agreed strategy (e.g. seasonal campaigns) for engaging with top accounts/prospects based on our named account list (NAL)
- Programs and device seeding: activate these for select accounts; use devices to unlock opps for Sales
- Target accounts for on-site takeovers and develop innovative pre and post-deal events
- Work with team to develop Customer Ambassador programs for target accounts (e.g. bringing select accounts to our client for exclusive summits with the Product team, Sales leaders etc)
Focus 2: Support Partner Field Marketing
- Execute on PMM strategy across different partner types.
Responsibilities
- Work with Partner PMMs and team to execute a strategic plan for how we engage with partners for field events, segmenting by partner type and priority (e.g. OEMs), and a set of metrics to measure for partner events
- Partner with enterprise clients on field marketing activities so we can collectively tap into a larger audience and explain our joint value proposition
- Build and maintain a partner events calendar; develop a list of speakers from our client for partner events
- Develop an 'event in a box' program for partners, so they can deliver our product message to their customers with minimal support from us
- Support Partner Summits at events
Focus 3: Run Regional Webinars (OS and Browser)
- Execute webinar programs to drive leads from places/people we cannot reach via physical events
Responsibilities
- Work with the central Marketing team to adapt content and promote regional webinars
- Work with Program Manager and PMMs to develop a large-scale webinar program
Focus 4: Field Marketing Processes & Hygiene (OS and Browser)
- Work across the team to coordinate on field marketing activities and provide frequent updates to regional & global stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Ensure we follow Enterprise brand guidelines for all field marketing activities
- Flag case study candidates to ensure they are submitted to the central team per the process
- Provide weekly updates on your work every Thursday
- Meet weekly to discuss strategy and project updates - use this time to flag highlights and lowlights
- Keep ourmaster events list up to date with the events that you are working on
- Build relationships with regional product sales and product marketing teams
- For any brand decisions, bring them to the weekly Interlock meeting (for example, approval on a booth design, or walkthrough of logistics for big events)
- Ahead of each quarter, contribute to a doc which gives Sales and Product a preview of upcoming events
- Report on the impact of your events each month as part of the monthly demand gen report, use Marketo/SFDC dashboards for data
- Ensure that events are adequately promoted on the product Enterprise website, the product blog and other online places as required
- Ensure that ISR/Sales teams know which events are coming up and can work the leads; ensure that Sales are prepped with appropriate follow-up comms and work with Yesler (agency) for Sales Acceleration emails
- Build Marketo landing pages for events as needed
- Maintain the device inventory list to ensure we know where laptops and phones are at all times
- Support large, cross-team field marketing efforts as required
- Write post-event recaps
